Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum 7 years experience
- Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally within mining, heavy industry, oil and gas, or manufacturing
- Strong financial modelling skills essential
- Experienced in financial analysis, month end process involvement, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to work proactively as part of a team and build strong relationships with key internal customers
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Well-developed Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint presentation development skills

Task Description
- Delivers monthly reporting and analysis of operating and capital costs
- Supports monthly forecasting, budgeting and month end processes
- Maximizes the use of business tools and management reporting, using strong financial modelling skills to support continuous improvement
- Works as a partner to the site based Finance Superintendents and Senior Business
- Analyst, working alongside them to assist in delivering a high level of customer support to operational managers and superintendents
- Supports provision of strong business intelligence, including life of mine modelling and cash-flow analysis
- Develops excellent working relationships with Vientiane and site based personnel
- Provides training of staff in the use of key businees tools, budgets and costing fundamentals to improve their knowledge of the financial impacts of the business
- Supports the departmental cost reviews held monthly with Managers and Superintendents
