Requirements:

* Shall possess sound job knowledge regarding fabrication requirements as per ASME & API Codes for Pressure Vessels / Heat Exchangers/ Tanks & Piping.
* Shall be capable of establishing NDE procedures with latest NDE techniques for all ferrous & non ferrous materials to meet the demanding requirements of Oil & Gas industry.
* Shall be able to identify and implement the latest NDE & welding techniques for all ferrous & non ferrous materials to meet the high productivity needs of fabrication.
* Shall be able to co ordinate with QA/QC Superintendents and with Shop superintendents to execute NDE & Inspection functions.
* Shall possess good job knowledge regarding ASME code requirements related to Pressure Parts welding & fabrication.
* Shall be able to analyze the weld defect data & implement the corrective actions to minimize the weld defect percentage.
* Shall be able to perform all stage inspections in the pressure vessel / heat exchanger fabrication shop, independently, for compliance to fabrication requirements.
* Shall be able to have close liaison with Client Inspectors & ASME Authorized Inspector for all in-process (stage) inspections in accordance with ITP and Production schedule.
* Shall be able to prepare all in- process (stage) inspection reports and also to compile final Documentations on time.
