Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manufacture high quality products as per demand and to ensure the profitability of the division through optimum utilization of resources.
- Planning, coordination and control of production processes depending on the nature of the production system
- To ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently; with right quality, quantity, and cost
- Responsible for effective and optimum utilization of both human and material resources
- To actively involve in both the pre – production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
- To be actively involved in dealing with production team
- To actively involved with product design and production in cordination with Planners, Controllers, Production Engineers, Production Supervisors and Quality Assurance Engineers.
- Provide consulting for future contracts, storage and upgrading equipment
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule to ensure timely production of good – quality products
- Manage he operation of production processes
- To ensure the goods & services are produced on time, and up to the satisfaction of the customer, with right price
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Hold responsibility for Health and Safety issues.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Uganda.
- Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
